Booking Terms and Conditions
Fees
Course prices are listed per delegate and include all tuition fees, use of equipment and all course materials. Lunch and refreshments will be provided where the course is located at a BBC Wood Norton premises. Course prices are correct at time of going to press but may be subject to increase.
Accommodation
En-suite accommodation is available for delegates upon request. Accommodation is only available for courses based at BBC Wood Norton. The standard package consists of bed and breakfast. We can no longer provide evening meals at the Foothills Restaurant at Wood Norton, allowing you to have greater flexibility in choosing where and at what times you dine.

Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate delegates at our facilities, the BBC reserves the right to use alternative accommodation if appropriate. Advance notice will be given wherever possible.

Reservations
Upon receipt of a completed booking form, the BBC will confirm availability of the requested course and a booking acknowledgement will be issued.
Bookings are not confirmed until a booking acknowledgement has been issued.
Payments
For non-account customers all payments must be made by credit card, bankers draft or cheque (payable to "BBC") to:

An invoice can be issued prior to the start date of the course. Payment must be received and cleared prior to the start of the course. Customers paying by bankers draft must send proof of transfer from their bank.
The BBC reserves the right to refuse admission for any failure by a customer to pay course fees prior to the start of the course.
For account customers, payment will be due on completion of the course. Invoices are payable within 30 days of the date of the invoice.
International Reservations
All payments must be made in Sterling by credit card, bankers draft or cheque.
Cancellations
In the event of cancellation* by a delegate, cancellation fees will be due as set out below:
15-28 days prior to course commencement
50% of course fee
1-14 days prior to course commencement
100% of the course fee
1-21 days prior to course commencement
100% of the accommodation fee
* Substitute delegates will be accepted at any time, subject to notification to BBC Training and Development, tel: + 44 (0) 870 122 0216 or by email to training@bbc.co.uk.
** In the case of London based accommodation packages, delegates will be advised of the cancellation terms at the time of reserving the accommodation.
The BBC reserves the right to cancel a course for any reason prior to the start of the course. In the event of cancellation by the BBC, delegates will be notified and a full refund of all fees (including any fees paid for accommodation packages) will be made.
Course Materials
The BBC reserves all rights in the content of courses and all course materials. By signing the booking form for a course, delegates acknowledge that all rights in the content of courses and all course materials shall be owned by the BBC and that in attending a course delegates will not obtain any rights whatsoever in such content or materials.
Where the delegate does not sign the booking form for a course, the person signing the booking form shall procure that the delegate is bound by these terms.
Confidentiality
By signing the booking form for a course, delegates agree to keep confidential any information concerning the BBC of which delegates become aware as a result of attending a course. Where the delegate does not sign the booking form for a course, the person signing the booking form shall procure that the delegate is bound by these terms.
Rights of Third Parties
This agreement does not create, or infer any rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 which are enforceable by any person who is not a party to the agreement.
Miscellaneous
The BBC will not be liable for any travel or other expenses incurred by the delegates attending courses.

Delegates agree to comply with relevant BBC policies and procedures at all times during the course. Where the delegate does not sign the booking form for a course, the person signing the booking form shall procure that the delegate is bound by these terms.
While you can be assured that training courses provided by the BBC are covered by appropriate insurance protection, companies should note that the BBC will not be liable for loss or damage caused by their delegate(s) to others.
Companies should therefore ensure that they have appropriate public liability insurance cover in place at a level of no less than £3 million per incident.
