Description:
An all-round introduction to the skills of television news journalism. Learn to script and present news, select sound and pictures, and understand the process of putting a live news programme on air.

Who it's for:
Print, radio or online journalists new to television news.  
Anyone with a professional need to learn about television news delivered on any platform.
Aims:
All round introduction to the journalistic skills of television news bulletins and live television news.

Outline:
Learn how to adapt your skills to television news: selecting material, writing scripts, understand the grammar of editing, live reporting/presenting.  
Hands-on TV studio/gallery workshop  
Working with the camera crew  
An introduction to media law  
Online research skills
Prerequisites:
Participants should have a practical need to learn about television news and how it is made and broadcast.
