Who it's for:
The course is ideal for anyone about to start using Adobe Audition 1.5 to make radio features or for people who already use alternative editing systems and are about to change to Adobe Audition 1.5. We are able to run this course on client's premises. Please enquire for further information.
Aims:
The course aims to cover the essential recording and editing tools found in the Adobe Audition 1.5 program ensuring that delegates will be able to continue using and exploring it after the course.
Outline:
Delegates will have their own terminals and will be guided through a series of graded activities and exercises which cover: basics of Window's file housekeeping, the various ways of inputting audio, using and navigating around the edit window, using the multitrack window, compiling and mixing down a radio package, burning a CD of the finished work. There will be a brief introduction to the signal processing tools though this topic is covered in much more detail on the advanced Adobe Audition course.
Outcome:
Delegates will be aware of what the program can achieve and be shown how best working practices and they should leave the day being able to compile a simple short radio package.

General mouse and keyboard skills along with an awareness of Windows
