We're offering an 80% course subsidy to UK freelancers on a number of BBC Multi-Platform Awareness Workshops, thanks to the support of the Skillset TV Freelance Fund.
This course is ideal for Production staff with experience in conventional linear production and editorial creative processes.

As a requirement of the Freelance Training Programme, you must complete and fax the
BBC Booking Form,
Freelance Declaration Form,
Equal Opportunity Form and a copy of your CV to us. You must read and agree to our
standard terms and conditions. Please see section below to see if you qualify initially.
Once your application is received, we are required to review these and will inform you if you qualify for the funding asap.
Subject to the funding being approved we will require payment from you upfront before the start of the course.
Criteria for Discount
All those who benefit from the Skillset TV Freelance Fund must be working in the UK television industry, and are able to demonstrate relevant professional experience of working in the audio-visual industries.
These industries include broadcast, film, video, interactive media, computer games, animation and photo imaging. If you are not sure if you are eligible you should speak to the training provider before completing this declaration.
- I am currently employed on a fixed term contract of not more than 364 days
- I am currently in employment but can evidence that I have been given a date for the termination of my employment and will become a freelancer
- I am not currently working but have previous professional working experience in the industry
The following people are not eligible for support:
- Those who are on one or a series of renewable contracts with one employer in the industry lasting more than 364 days
- Actors
- Presenters
- Those in full time education
- Non UK residents, this includes international students
