Description:
A smooth, successful shoot starts with a good recce. This course is for all researchers and other production staff who want to equip themselves with the tools and techniques to carry out a rigorous recce.

Who it's for:
This course is aimed at researchers. It is also relevant for other production staff who want to get the best out of a recce, including experienced staff who want to brush up on their skills. The course will take about 2 hours to complete in one sitting, but is designed to be easy to dip in and out of.

Aims:
to provide a comprehensive guide to the recce process
to be a valuable tool for new and experienced production staff
to allow the learner to pick and choose the elements of most relevance to his/her knowledge and experience
to identify links between the recce and other production aspects such as production safety requirements, location contracts etc.
to be entertaining and interactive

Rigorous recces

Duration:2 hours
Description:For those who are completely new to recce-ing, it is a step by step guide covering every stage of the recce process from getting ready to leave the office, to presenting notes on return to base. A wealth of information including links, true stories and tips about completing a rigorous recce, is complemented by an extensive checklist which can be printed out. This module includes audio so use headphones if you have a sound card. If you don't have audio, don't worry it's not essential.
