The BBC Production Safety Course CD-ROM is aimed at all programme makers and operational staff working in television and radio. It provides a comprehensive and flexible training and assessment solution across the whole range of production and newsgathering activities. The CD uses video, audio and computer graphics to show a variety of interactive case studies based on actual productions.

Modules include:

• Introduction to safety


• Guide to risk assessment


• Responsibilities for safety in production


• Planned assignments


• Radio and television studios


• Planes, boats and automobiles


• Locations including working with DV


• Short notice assignments(newsgathering)

In total, there are over ten hours of training and assessment material.

Price Guide - Multiple Usage

Organisations can lease the CD-ROM for multiple usage, on an annual basis, with updates provided free of charge.

First year: £1,950 + VAT
Subsequent years: £1,000 + VAT
