BBC Training & Development offers a 60% subsidy to freelance/contract workers on a range of camera, sound, lighting, editing and new media training.

In addition, through Skillset, the Broadcast, Film, Video and Multimedia industry's Sector Skills Council, the following courses carry 60% funding from the Skillset Freelance Training Fund.
